Is selling modern burqas with designs and stones permissible in Islam?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am planning to start a business selling modern BURQA (niqab) which has designs, colours and lots of stones on that. Is it lawful to sell these kinds of burqas according to Islam which is more attractive than the normal type of burqas with no designs or any stones on that? Since it is more attractive than normal burqas few people suggest me that it is haram to do business with these. Please clarify.

(Fatwa: 1585/1193/D=1433)

When a woman wears any cloth or jewellery then it also carried the same ruling which body of a woman has. So as a woman is asked to cover her body parts in the same way all the things related to adornments on her body should also be covered. Thus big chuddar or simple burqah is only so that her adornments (clothes etc) are covered. Had the body clothes been enough to cover the body parts then why this Quranic commandment was given?
يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ .
O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they should draw down their shawls over them.

It is so that the face and the things of adornment (clothes and jewellery etc) are covered with it. It is obvious that the expediency of the order of the Quran and Hadith i.e. the Hijab shall be gained with simple and big chuddar.

If the burqah is also adorned and embroidered then it shall resemble the clothes of adornment for women then it shall also be required to be covered with hijab. In this case it shall be wrong to say it burqah rather it shall be an adorned cloth for which it shall be wajib to cover it. With the said details, the reply of your question was clear that it shall be a sin to say it burqah and it shall be promotion of fashion against Islamic interest which shall cause another sin.
