A man dies leaving a son 3daughters expenses for legal cost in government land registry and lawyer fees have to be paid question:how much should each heir pay for the legal cost and lawyer fees. JAZAKALLAHU KHAIRA
Answer

(Fatwa: 167/M=169/M)

Every heir will have to pay it according to his/her share. For example, if the expense was 500/- and the heirs are only one son and three daughters and there is no heir except them, then the son will have to pay 200/- and each daughter will have to pay 100/-; since a son gets double share compared to a daughter.
