Can a Muslim woman use an IUD in a Western country for a 2-year gap in birth control?

Assalamu w w w is it permissible to have IDU (copper-t)temporary birth control device-valid for 2 years gap only for a muslim women(just to upbring current child who is 8-12 months with extra care in our western country where no joint family exist)this temprary way as per some talks it is also kind of abortion due to coper-T itself built copper which melt sperm so it is a abortion ? please adivise

(Fatwa: 275/199=L/1430)

It is against the wish of Shariah and a cause of displeasure to adopt such method which prevents conception. Therefore, resorting to such methods is makrooh. The hadith says:

تزوجوا الودود الولود

Marry fertile and loving women.

Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) knows Best
