ASKM! DURING FASTING I AND MY WIFE HUGGED EACHOTHER,KISSED AND PRESSED/MASSAGED PRIVATE PARTS.IN THIS CASE DO WE HAVE TO OFFER KAFFARA OR QAZA ?WHAT IS THE SOLUTION IF THIS HAS HAPPENED OTHER THAN IN RAMZAN DURING NAFEEL FASTING OR RAMZAN QAZA FASTING…IF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IN RAMZAN IS YOUR ANSWER SAME? OR DIFFERENT?JAZAKALLAHU KHAIR!

If there was only hugging and kissing without having intercourse with her, and neither you ejaculated due to kissing etc, the fast will not break and there will be no qadha as well as kaffarah. But, it is makrooh to do so in the state of fasting; it must be avoided whether it is the fast of Ramadan or nafl. The ruling of kaffarah in only in case of breaking the Ramadan fast, there is no kaffarah in nafl if it was broken before time.
