Is it permissible to talk on the phone or meet with one’s fiancé before marriage?

Assalaamualeikum Brothers, I have been engaged and i would like to know whether i can talk with her in phone or meet her in private, since our marriage is after six month from now. Zazaak-allah.

Answer

(Fatwa: 633/590=L/1429)

Talking to the girl and meeting her in privacy is unlawful and haram, since untill you are not married she is like non-mahram to you and privacy with such woman is unlawful.
