Assalamualaikum, 1. I am in a muslim country in Asia pacific zone,I heard crab is halal and its bit common here among muslims. please let me know if it is allowed for a hanafi. 2. Once I had been to a Halal restaurant in Malaysia, They served soup, thinking its a chicken soup i had it, later I came to know that was Crab soup, I am too worried, please advice me what to do, if its haram food then what should I do to clean myself. Agar os khanay se badan ka koi hissa bana to, mout tak wo haram-khanay (CRAB) se bana huwa hissa mere badan may rahega, mai paak hona cahta houn, please hlep me.

Eating crabs is unlawful:
قال تعالی: ویحرم عليهم الخبائث, وفي ملتقی الابحر: ولا یؤکل من حیوان الماء إلا السمک بأنواعہ الخ
If you have taken crab soup unknowingly, you should seek forgiveness from Allah.
