Is it permissible for a non-Muslim politician to be in the Mehrab area of a Masjid after prayers?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
How far it is justifiable in the eyes of Shariah to allow a non-Muslim politician in the Mehrab area of a Masjid (beside the Imam right after the Namaz) to derive political gain (to see off and wish the Pilgrimages)?

Answer

(Fatwa: 1766/1241/L=1432)

The arrangement of farewell ceremony for Hajis is not good as per the Shariah. Hence one should avoid it.
