Is it a sunnah to hold an aasa by imaam at the time of delivering of juma khutba?

The scholars of Fiqh have different opinions regarding this matter. The best point of view in this regard is that holding stick (assa) during Jumua prayer is permissible, not makrooh (undesirable). But, considering it as necessary and denouncing those who do not hold it is makrooh (undesirable):
ویکرہ ان یتکاٴ علی قوس او عصا اھ قال الشامي: و نقل القھستاني عن عبد المحیط ان اخذ العصا سنة (شامي)
