Is it permissible to use soap to wash one’s body? If not, why? If not, what can I use to ensure that my body is clean other than water?

Answer

(Fatwa: 2142/1738=B/1429)

Yes, it is allowed to wash body with soap. Having applied soap, if the body is washed clean with water it will become tahir (pure and clean). Do not get in any doubt.
