Is it permissible to greet or respond to Syed Raza Imam Naqvi?

Sir I am an engineering university student in Lahore but i m a resident of Multan so i live in hostel and in my department there are only two students of Multan. One is me and other is syed raza imam naqvi, who is ahletashie. in vacations we go ome togeter. and in university we often eat togeter and sometimes he give me something to eat and sometimes i give im someting to eat in friendsip. is my this type of relation wit im rigt or wrong? if wrong ten tell me that what type of relation sould be between us? kia us ko salam krna ya us k slam ka jwab dena jaiz ai?

The ithana ashri Shias, as per the false beliefs written in their books are out of folk of Islam. A Muslim should neither have close relations with them nor should have relation of eating and drinking. Yes, there is no wrong in having moral relations. A Muslim should not initiate salam to them, but if they greet they can be responded with wa’alaik (وعلیک).
