Can I perform dua without wudhu if I already prayed in the mosque?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My question is as follows: One day I went to mosque there I listened a lecture on Islam, then there I offered Isha prayer and sat for a while then I felt for urine so I went to toilet and maturated. After that I entered the mosque without wudhu as I thought I have performed salah and was about to go. So I sat for few minutes and there started ijtimai dua not of salah but of the gathering that was there to listen lecture. So I too performed dua. So can I perform dua as in above situation as I did not perform wudhu before that?

Answer

(Fatwa: 246/191/B=1433)

Wudhu is not a condition for dua (supplication). You can supplicate without wudhu as well.
