What is the meaning of a dream in which I was arrested, prayed in jail, and then released?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalmu Alaykum First, I would like to say may Allah Subhanahu Ta’alaa reward all the Ulema (espeacially the ifta department) that are working in this site. Alhamdulillah, I practice Islam, but fall short in many aspects and become heedless in sin sometimes frequently. I pray Allah give me Istiqamat (I say this not humbly but truthfully). I also attend the Weekly istema here and attend the khanqah of a shaykh very much connected to the Ulema of Deoband. I hope the information I provided is helpful in deriving an interpretation of a dream. The question is regarding a dream that I saw a few months ago. I live in Toronto, Canada and I got arrested by the police and then they took me in to prison. Upon arriving in my jail cell, I immediately realized there is no path now other then to to turn to Allah. I prayed and prayed on my Jainamaz within the jail cell and eventually got released. Can you tell me meaning of this? Again, Jazakallahu Khairan

Your dream is quite clear. The attention towards Almighty Allah and excess of istighfar causes deliverance from grief and ease at the time of hardship and difficulty. Carry on your practices and if you experience conviction after istikharah then take the oath of allegiance to the said shaikh.
