Is it permissible for us to leave Jumuah salah?

Every Friday we go to village for picnic and stay there from morning to evening. May I know will it be a sin for us according to Shariah to leave Jumuah salah?

Answer

(Fatwa: 695/605/B=1433)

It is bad to go to village on Friday and leave Friday prayer merely for picnic while Jumuah is an important salah. You should choose any other day for picnic or first offer Jumuah and then leave for village for picnic.

Note: The answer is correct. It is also necessary that the picnic is free from other prohibited things.
