Is there any hadith stating the reason for solar and lunar eclipses? Why does it take place? And what should we do during solar n lunar eclipses?

Almighty Allah intends to show His power from Solar and Lunar eclipses that as Almighty Allah has power in lighting (the sun and the moon) in the same way He also has the power to take away their lights. It also reveals that their light is not their own rather it is gifted by Allah and they are subject to Almighty Allah in enlightening the world. One should offer salah, do zikr, dua and istighfar and give charity at the time of solar and lunar eclipses.
