Why do Muslims from different countries pray different sunnahs in namaz?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I have noticed that the Muslims from the countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh tend to pray fardh in namaz of course but they also pray particular sunnahs for say Zuhr and Maghrib. However, many of me fellow Muslim friends that come from the middle east say Lebanon, Iran or Turkey etc pray only fardh for namaz. Please clear this concept.

(Fatwa: 1301/1301/M=1432)

One should offer those nafl and sunnah salah that are reported in Hadith to be offered before and after the fardh. The insistence on leaving sunnah mu’akkadah will cause sin and admonition. The sunnah and nafl are complementary for fardh. It is not enough to content oneself with fardh only. It is good that the Muslims of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh regularly offer sunnah. The Muslims of other countries too should do so.
