What are the rules of fasting during pregnancy according to Islamic law?

Aslamalakum , my question is my wife is pregnent five month passed, now ramadan month is going on and she can live fasting or she should keep fasting. during fasting she become tired and filling not well. please give the answer what is the actul rule for fasting during preganancy and what is kaffara or qada.

Answer

(Fatwa: 1528/1209/L=1430)

A woman should keep fasts in pregnancy as well. But, if she fears her life or the life of the foetus, she is permitted not to fast. If a pregnant woman, misses the fasts due to some compulsion, she will only make up the missed fasts later, there is no kaffarah on her.
