I am interested in trying to create a habit of conforming to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). What kitab would you recommend I study and refer to for the Sunnah method of normal day-to-day activities?

You should study Rasoolullah ki Sunnatain (Maulana Hakim Muhammad Akhtar), Khasail Nabvi (Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Zakaria) and Shamail Kubra (Mufti Muhammad Irshad).
