Is it permissible to pray Isha before its prescribed time?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Asalam Alaykum Sheikh, I have a question regarding the Isha prayer. I live in the Unites States and the Isha prayer is at 10:30pm, and have school the next day, and 10:30 pm is too late for me. So my question is..Is it permissible to pray Isha before time?

Answer

(Fatwa: 975/780=L/1430)

If the time of Isha arrives in United States at 10:30, you should perform Isha Salah after 10:30. Performing salah in time is a precondition for salah to be valid, a salah performed before time is invalid; rather it is necessary to re-perform it after the arrival of time.
