ASSALAMUALIKUM,I live in a joint family and i am now 22yrs,my uncle lives in other country.I had heard from my parents that they will marry his daughter to me,as this was told by both of the parents from long time ago but the point dint come in front of me till now,but now it has come my mother n father and her mother told me about it.((dua karo aap log aisa hi ho))The question is that how should i be with the girl,as the girl also lives in same house we see each other frequently.Still i am doing my engineering and she is doing intermediate college,and i have no intension of marring now nor my parents are telling me to do so at this time but as we both live in same house how do i live in means of purda,aqlaaq, and guide me in correct path .can i talk with her,can i share gifts like giving chocolates to her,as she has little knowledge about islam i have given her beheshiti zeewar book as aalim sahab told me but she hardly reads it As i want a girl who should have deeni ilm and not stop me from deeni work , i want to built up her as i have a oppurtunity.please tell me how do i do it and how do i live in the house.hope u people undersatand it and show me right path so that my family people will be happy with me and mainly ALLAH(swt) sould be GUIDE ME IN STRAIGHT N RIGH PATH ALLAH HAFIZ.JAZAKALLAH

The best and safest way is that you marry that girl with the mediation of parents as soon as possible. Once Nikah is complete, talking, exchanging gifts etc will automatically be lawful. Also, you should study Bahishti Zewar and Fazail Aamal and read it out for others in house.
