Is it permissible in Islam to do job in banks like indian bank where transactions are through interest?

(Fatwa: 549/538=N)

Working in a bank is disallowed which deals in interest and where one has to write accounts of interest and the salary is given to him from interest money:

لعن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اٰکل الربوا و مؤکلہ وکاتبہ و شاھدیہ و قال؛ ھم سواء (مسلم و ترمذی) الحرام ینتقل ای تنتقل حرمتہ وان تداولتہ الأیدی و تبدلت الاملاک (رد المحتار: 7/300) الحرمۃ تتعدد مع العلم بھا ۔۔۔ اما لو رأی المکاس مثلاً یأخذ من أحد شیأ من المکس ثم یعطیہ آخر ثم یأخذ من ذلک الآخر آخر فھو حرام (رد المحتار: باب البیع الفاسد 7/301)
