The conditions mentioned by you regarding your wife indicate that she is bid’ati (innovator). Seeking help with the pirs is not the belief of Ahlus Sunnah wal-Jama?at, this is against the Holy Quran and Hadith. The Holy Quran says:

ولاتدع من دون الله مالاينفعك ولا يضرك

And besides Allah, do not call those who neither can benefit you and nor can harm you.

It is written in a Hadith that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) taught Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہ):

اذا استعنت فا ستعن بالله

When you want to seek help, then you must ask Allah Almighty.

And, it is in Surha Fatiha:

اياك نعبدواياك نستعين

Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

You should convince your wife gently and kindly, and you yourself should study the book: Muntakhab Ahadith, and persuade your wife to study the same, in-sha-Allah her dogmas will be rectified.
