Is commission from insurance premiums halal or haram?

I am am insurance adviser. I do get commision from customer’s preimium. Which can be renewable or not. At the time of maturity of insurance the company is giving sum assured. So, i want to know the commision is halal or haram?

(Fatwa: 939/875=D/1429)

Life insurance is based on interest and gambling, therefore it is haram. It is unlawful to take commission on it; the income shall not be lawful.
