Answer
(Fatwa: 788/b=172/tb=1431)
(1) Islam has not fixed any age for marriage, when right and appropriate proposal is available for boy or girl father should do their nikah as soon as possible. As it is mentioned in hadith:
كما في الحديث . عن على رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال يا على ثلث لا تؤخرها الصلوة اذا أتت والجنازة إذا حضرت والأيم إذا وجدت لها كفواً (ترمذى بحواله مشكوة 1/61 ، باب تعجيل للصلوة).
(2) Until the boy or girl are not mature father has the right to do their nikah forcefully, after they are mature nikah cannot be done forcefully. However when the boy is not ready to marry in any particular place so father should not force him to do so. Nikah is the matter of whole life, the consent of boy and girl should specially be taken in mind.
