Is working in a non-Islamic bank, taking calls and informing customers of interest charges halal or haram?

asalamualaykum, i wanted to clafrify that i am doing a job in bank which is not an islamic bank, & my job is of customer service, means i am taking calls , talking with people over the handlng there queries which also includes of informing of interest charges sometimes, so i want to know whether these is cosidered as hallal or haram, once i get clarification from u i will decide to quit if it is haram. i request to reply for this mail. asalmualaykum

The above mentioned work amounts to helping in interest transactions and helping someone in sin is also prohibited: لقولہ تعالی: ولا تعاونوا علی الاثم والعدوان واتقوا اللہ (الآیۃ). Therefore, your job is not right. Moreover, generally the bank uses interest money for salary of the employees, if it is so then your earning is also unlawful.
