Is it permissible to give a woman talaaq during the 40 days period after childbirth if a man give his wife talaaq during this period is it valid.

The blood which is discharged after childbirth is called nifas (postpartum period). The husband has been prohibited to pronounce divorce in a state of haiz or nifas. However, if anyone gives divorce to his wife during this period (nifas), the divorce will take place but the man will be a sinner to for giving the divorce in such state.
