Is tailoring dresses that expose the skin of women/girls against Islamic Shariah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Dear Mufti Sab – Assalamualaykum, 1) Please guide us as per Shariah the earnings (haram or halal) of those ladies tailor who earns by stiching the dresses of girls/womens which is against the Islamic Shariah like Choli/Blouse (as per Indian culture which shows the skin of waist or upper chest, etc) or any tight salwar/kameez which expose the structure of the lady. 2) If it is haram, also guide us whether it is haram in the state of she/he had no source of income other than tailoring. 3) If it is haram, can the relatives of them avoid eatings from their income. Thanks, Gazakumullah.

It is not lawful for a tailor to stitch non-Islamic dress. The income earned by this means is makrooh. One can accept the feast of such tailors and eat their food, however, it is better to avoid. This ruling applies all the condition.
