I am a employee of a private Firm. I have received back by Provident Fund in April 2009. Kindly let me know that the Zakat will be given on that amount this year.

If you are already owner of nizab i.e. zakah is already obligatory upon you, so the time you will give your usual Zakah you will include this fund money in the same and give its Zakah as well. But, if you owned wealth equal to nisab only after having provident fund, you were not paying Zakah before that, then in April next year (2010) you will pay Zakah of this fund.
