What is the view of Muftis about a very serious matter of using cloned animal and plant? Is it halal or not, please reply with complete details.

Answer

(Fatwa: 994/604/L=1433)

If the sperm of halal animal was used to clone the animal then that animal shall be considered halal, otherwise haram. And if such tree was grown by clone whose fruit is eaten then its fruits shall be termed as halal.
