How should inheritance be distributed when a man dies leaving three sons and one daughter with no wife present?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
A man dies leaving no wife, 3 sons and 1 daughter. How should the inheritance of the deceased be distributed? Jazakallahu Khaira!

Answer

(Fatwa: 414/J)

If there is no other heir except the sons and daughter, then after paying due rights preceding the inheritance, the entire property of the dead person will be distributed in seven (7) parts, out of which each son will get 2 shares and the daughter will get 1 share.

3 sons:             6

1 daughter:        1
