عن عبد الله بن عمر قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن الذين يصنعون هذه الصور يعذبون يوم القيامة, يقال لهم: أحيوا ما خلقتم (بخارى, مسلم)
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Those who make pictures will be punished on the Day of Judgment and will be asked: make the picture alive which you created.
عن أبي طلحه يقول: سمعت رسول الله عليه وسلم يقول: لاتدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب ولا صورة (مسلم)
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)) said: Angels do not enter a house accommodating dog and picture.
You should study the books: ‘Tasweer ke Sharaee Ahkam’ by Mufti Muhammad Shafee Sb, (May Allah bless him) and ‘Islam mian tasweer ka hukm’ by Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. The first book is part of ‘Jawahirul Fiqh’, part 3, while the latter book is a part of Fiqhi Maqala, volume 4. These books are available in market.
