Is my daily SMSing of hadith/verses jaiz or najaiz?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
“I read hadith and Quranic verses daily for my hidayah and forward one selected hadith/verse to my contacts via mobile SMS. I do this as sadqa-e-jaria and as tabligh-e-deen and islah of my relatives or friends. Also I think (as per one hadith) that whoever get to know of a hadith is liable to spread it rather than keep to him. Please tell me if this deed of mine is “jaiz or najaiz”? Is this not ‘sdqa-e-jaria’? If I have told my contacts (the SMS recipients) to delete such hadith or verse SMS as soon as they have read it, is this any desecration of hadith or verse?”

(1) There is no harm in sending others the hadith or the verses of the holy Quran from any authentic book or from the translation of any authentic Alim. However, first you should show the translation of hadith and the holy Quran to the local Ulama and Muftis, and then send it as per their instruction.
(2) There is no need to say to delete it formally nor does it carry any harm.
