Is it permissible to stay and eat with non-Muslims who drink alcohol?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamoalykum, I am working for one company in Saudi. Now they are going to transfer me in other country. Here I have to stay in company staff house with non-muslims.I have to cook and share the food with company people. But they are frequently drinking alcohol. and sometimes during cooking they use to drink.I have no option to eat outside as there is no nearby restaurant. So, in this case is it allowed to stay with them and eat with them or is there any other option. please advise me as soon as possible.

Answer

(Fatwa: 1013/1013/M=1431)

You should avoid consuming haram and impure things, do not share food and drink with them as long as you can. Also keep on trying to get yourself transferred to any other company and supplicate Almighty Allah for the same.
