By the grace of Allah, I was blessed with a son on 15.11.2008. He had been named as “Khondakar Usman Farhan” on 21st day of his birth. What is the meaning of this name? and whether the spelling of this name is correct? Whether giving a nick name for daily use to my son will be good?

We are not aware of ?Khondakar?, it must be nickname in your area, consult any local aalim about the same. Usman is the name of a great Sahabi, this is enough for the greatness of the name, now there is no need to look for the meaning. Farhan means happy. You can name your child with ?Usman Farhan?, you can have a short nickname as well, Farhan also may serve for that.
