I am working in a central university, doing accounting job by maintaining the record of provident fund of all employees where calculation of interest is done, whether this assignment is ok under shariah. If no what should be done to rescue.

It is allowed to maintain records of PF (provident fund), the additional amount which is added in the name of interest is not interest as per Shariah and the employees are liable to take it; so it is allowed to maintain its records. In short, your employment is ok and your salary is halal.
