Answer

(Fatwa: 1487/1314=B)

Shias are out of Islam according to their faiths mentioned in their books. For example, they believe that the Quran is distorted and modified and Hazrat Ali (Raziallahu Anhu) is a god. They believe that Hazrat Jibreel committed treason in putting the revelations; he put the wahy (revelation) to Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) instead of Hazrat Ali or Imam Ghaaib. They blame Hazrat Aishah of adultery whereas she has been declared innocent of the sin by the Quran, etc etc. These beliefs are clearly kufr (infidelity). Therefore, a Muslims can not marry a kafir.
