How should a married Muslim couple interact in order to remain within Islamic rules?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
is it compulsory for a muslim that after marriage he have to stay alone with his wife & childrens leaving his parents & brothers & other family members? what are the conditions in which one have to get seperated from his joint family? please explain in detail?

Answer

(Fatwa: 961/764=L/1430)

Living separately after marriage with wife and children leaving the parents, brothers and other family members is not necessary. The parents, brothers and other family members can live together after marriage also, but the veil should be observed before the non-mahram members like brother in laws etc and they must not be frank and open with your wife playing jokes and teasing; since these things are haram.

(2) But if in living jointly, it is difficult to maintain the limits set by Allah and the forbidden acts are unavoidable, so you can keep the wife and children separately. But in this case also, you must have to maintain good conduct to your family members and relatives; severing ties of kinship in this case is also haram.
