Assalaamu Alaikum W R: What is the sunnath of applying surma, 1. Can we apply it any time (i.e., morning, evening, while going to function, office etc) plz reply. Jazakallah.

Answer

(Fatwa: 1828/D=114/K=1429)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to apply surma (kohl) at bed time thrice in each eye. (Khasail Nabwi) This is the sunnah way of applying kohl. It is allowed to apply at other occasions as well.
