Can you provide fatwas for (1) reciting Dua-e-Noor, Dua-e-Ganjul-Arsh, Dua-e-Jameelah, and Khadd-e-Mou

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Kindly send me the fatwas for the following queries: (1) Whether one can recite (a) Dua-e-Noor. (b) Dua-e-Ganjul-Arsh. (c) Dua-e-Jameelah, and (d) Khadd-e-Mouzzam. (2) Whether one can offer supplications (Dua) in front of Janazah after Namaz-e- Janazah, is it not Bid’ah, as Janazah prayer in itself is a dua. (3) What is the ruling and procedure in offering dua inside a burial ground? Can one offer “dua” by lifting hands as in normal “dua” in front of the grave or in graveyard?

Answer

(Fatwa: 1209/1024/B=1432)

(1) Dua-e-Noor, Dua-e-Ganjul Arsh and Dua-e-Jamilah are not proved from Hadith but they are correct as per the meaning and context, hence if someone recites them it is allowable. But the so-called virtues and merits of it are not proved from hadith.
(2) Making dua again after Janazah salah in front of janazah is not proved. It should be given up.
(3) One should not make dua in front of grave while raising hands. It gives the resemblance of praying to the person in grave. Yes, one can make dua raising one’s hands in graveyard moving away from the grave.
