Is it permissible to print a six-pointed star and moon on the covering cloth of a Janazah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamu alaikum rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. After salam-e-masnoon I have to state that star having six angles is used as religious symbol by jews. We want to print six angles star & moon in the covering cloth of Janazah. Is it permissible? Wassalam Imdadullah

Answer

(Fatwa: 399/100=TH/1430)

It is unlawful, you must not do it. The janazah cover sheet should be white and simple free from writings and designs like star, moon etc.
