Is it permissible to give charity to needy people, particularly Sadat families?

1-can we give sadqa to saddat family. 2-can we use sadqa money to buy computer for school n pakistan.

Answer

(Fatwa: 815/L=294/tl=1432)

(1) It is not right to give the amount of zakah, sadqah al-Fitr or other wajib sadaqat to persons belong to the Prophet’s family. However, you can give them nafl sadaqah.
(2) By sadaqah if you mean zakah or sadqah al-fitr, it is not lawful to buy computer from this money.
