I am married, have one boy & girl and age is 40 year. my parent is not done my aqiqa Can I do Aqiqa at this age because I am Educated man.everytime we start business but unfortunataly not getting success what we can do. thanks

(Fatwa: 351/351/M=1432)
(1) Yes, you can do your aqiqah.
(2) Find out the apparent reasons and causes of failure in the business and try to remove them. May Almighty Allah save you from loss. Keep on trying to do business as per the guidelines set by Shariah and recite Ayat al-Kursi and the following dua after each salah, you shall be granted barakah (prosperity), in-sha-Allah:
اللهم اكفني بحلالك عن حرامك و أغنني بفضلك عمن سواك
Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) knows Best
