Is it halal for a Hanafi to take interest on loans given to non-Muslims in the US?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Please answer the following 1 ) today most wines are made from fruits, vegetables, wheat, barley etc. for examples Whiskey, Rum, Black Label, Blue Label, Vodka etc. these all wines are permitted by Abu Hanifa to drink upto a level until one is intoxicated (see Hidaya where abu hanifa only regard dates and grapes wines as haram). I am easily take three glasses of these wines and i am never intoxicated. as i m a hanafi is this halal for me for take the wines made other than grapes and dates (almost all commercial wines are from fruits now days). 2) i am born in USA and as per Hidaya, Hanafi can take riba from any kafir in dar al Harb. USA is an open enemy of Muslims and has declared open wars in many muslim countries. as a hanafi i gave loans to non-muslims here in USA and i take heavy interest on them. Is this halal for me as a hanafi ? thanks

(Fatwa: 637B=103/tb=1431)

(1) Drinking wine brewed from anything if it bears intoxication is haram.

كل مسكر حرام

Those who are drunkard if they do not feel intoxication the wine would not be halal for them. The four drinks i.e. wine made of dates, dry dates, raisin, grapes is totally haram, wether little or much, intoxicant or not, because their unlawfulness is proved by hadith.

(2) The fact is that taking interest from Muslim or non-Muslim, in non-Islamic country or Islamic country everywhere is unlawful and haram. Though non-Muslim is our friend or foe taking interest is haram. This is the preferred ruling.
