I was ill having flu cold fever today.i did nt go for jammat in fajr cause i thought the disease wil increase as it was cold in the morning. is it right?

If you fear that your disease would definitely increase, then it was a legal reason not to go to the mosque and attend jamat, but because of this it is impermissible to miss the salah from its time:
وعد صاحب نور الإيضاح من اعذار المبحية لترك الجماعة حيث قال وسقام، وقال بعده واذا انقطع عن الجماعة لعذر من اعذارها المبحية للتخلف وكانت نيته حضورھا لو لا العذرالحاصل يحصل ثوابها (حاشيه طحاوى: 299)
