I am following hanafi madhab. please inform me whether it is permitted to eat prawn,shrimp & lobstar in hanafi madhab.

It is makrooh tahreemi (undesirable to an extent of being haram) to eat prawns. However, some people regard it a kind of fish and allow eating it. For details see: Fiqhi Maqalat by Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. In short, it is better to avoid; it is more precautious. It is allowable if someone eats it considering it lawful.
