Is SATVASA allowed in Islam?

Assalamualaikum -I would like to know about the custom of seventh month pregnancy Ceremony (SATVASA)is allowed in islam or not. If it is not allowed, can we attend the ceremony if invited from our close relatives.Pls help me to answer this asap so that it will be helpful for one of the upcoming such ceremony in my brother’s home. (Fatwa: 275/154/D=1432)

(1) The custom of seventh month pregnancy ceremony (satvasa) is un-Islamic. We are asked to keep aloof from such customs.
(2) It is better to say sorry attending it.
