Can we wax/trim ourselves & keep nails long for 40 days?

I want to ask,can we wax our body ourself without being showed any other girl if we hav excessive hairs?secondly can we have a trimming of our hair if there are alot of splitends… and the growth has been stopped due to that,thirdly rafah yadein was done by our prophet i have studied a hadith in maruf-hadith by manzoor naumani,hadith by sahih bukhari so we r also suposed to do or not please help me in this i am confused,fourthly for how many days we can keep our nails long i heard it is 40 days is it true.

Yes, it is allowable, but if the wax is in bodily form which prevents water from reaching to the skin, then it will be necessary to remove it at the time of wuzu, otherwise the wuzu shall not be valid.

(2) Basically, it is not allowed for a woman to trim her hair. If the hair have grown to a considerable length then it is not permissible to trim it. If the hair are very short which look ugly then it is allowable to trim it as a treatment.

(3) The Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) did so in the beginning, but later he forsook it; therefore one should not do raf?a-yadain.

(4) It is better to cut the nails weekly. If it is not possible then in 15-20 days, but it should not exceed 40 days. If one does not cut it within 40 days he will be sinful.
