How should one handle family disputes that arise when proposing marriage to someone outside the family?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalam-Alaikum Brother My problem is that i am ready to perform Sunnat of Nikah, But due to some dispute of bride being from outside of the family some of my family members are denying to accept the proposal. But i am ready and happy with it. In this case can we perform nikah appointing our nearest friends as a witness.

In the abovementioned case, you can marry in the presence of family members of the girl along with your close friends. But, you should try that your family members and relatives also participate in the Nikah ceremony.
