The prevalent Quran Khawani and the reading of durood collectively are merely ignorance and show. It is good and righteous act to send durood and salam to the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) but this should be done in privacy and thinking about the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) with full attention. Not only two or four times, rather one should read duroods that are proved from the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) 2-4 thousand times. It is merely ignorant and artifice to read out durood collectively after Quran Khawani in singing tune just to make others hear and to show. This is neither proved from the holy Quran and hadith, nor from the Companions of the holy Prophet and their successors and pious elders.
