Assalamualaikum, Please clarify is there any special status to Muslim people of Makkah and Madina(arabs). Do we have to give them respect due to their relationship with our prophert Mohammed Sallellahu Alaihiwa Sallam. I mean is there any specail qualtiy or status related to ARAB Muslims?

Answer

(Fatwa: 161/126=H/1429)

As per the religion, they have no special status. But in comparison to others, they should be behaved more lovingly in conduct and dealing because of being nearer to the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) in relation, in homeland and language provided it does not contain any thing against Shariah. The Shariah limits in all the cases must be maintained.
