Does a fast become invalid during menstruation?

Assalamu Aalaikum, janaab i am observing Sawm (Roza) regularly by the grace of Almighty most benevolent Allah.My problem is during my roza i had period(Haiz). On that day i experienced period at around 11:00 am . i completed my roza that day. Kindly tell whether that days roza is maqru? please help.

(Fatwa: 997/997=M/1429)

Your fast broke when you menstruated on eleven o clock; you missed the fast of that day. It is prohibited to fast in the state of menses or postpartum period. After Ramadan, you have to make up (qaza) of the fasts missed due to menses.
